Selling Flags - Girls just want to Have Fun

Amanda Jones, Farrah Poe and Anna Smothers all have more then one thing in common...But on the 3rd of July it was all about Helping "Mercy" Children's Hospital,  here in St. Louis.  "They don't let many things stop them once they have their mind made up," said Cyndy Smothers owner of American Heritage .  Selling flags, banners and flag poles on the 3rd of July they stopped traffic while trying to get everyone involved in the 2012 celebration of Independence Day. They spent the day offering free food and drinks to everyone who stopped and didn't let a small thing like record breaking heat stop them from encouraging others. Log in to our facebook account and see pictures of the girls located at 11062 Olive Blvd, St Louis, Mo 63141. Our website also has a ton of information at http://www.americanheritagebannersandflags.com/ and http://www.amheritage.com/. Out of towners can call toll free at 888-350-2101.

Celebrating the Fourth in Webster Groves

The Fourth is obviously a day for American flags, but no city does it better than Webster Groves! Banners are hung weeks before to alert the neighborhood of what is to come and as soon as the first July sun hits, the flags go up! There isn't a place in Webster you could go without seeing the famous red, white, and blue. The well-known carnival lasts for four days, and on Independence Day the parade takes its journey throught the streets of Webster. People from all over come fully dressed in flag attire to support every float that passes by! From great food to great fun, there isn't a chance you'll miss the American pride! Not to mention all the family fun activites everyday! Be sure to check it out!
